The Spirit of Skipton Castle Woods Story Book
The Woodland Trust commissioned Nature House to write & illustrate a fictional medieval story that was to be made into a book for Skipton Castle Woods aimed at engaging schoolchildren & young families who visit the woods..
The fiction book was to be made into an installation with wooden book cover & waterproof paper.

The story book will later become a play & be made available for sale in the Woodland Trust Book Shop.
The Embankment Kids Story Trail
Interpretation Content
Commissioned by the Dearne Valley Landscape Partnership, Nature House created an educational and fun family fictional story resource for a regenerated ralway embankment cutting which had been turned into a community wildlife haven by the local people of Goldthorpe, Rotherham..

Nature House created a story & illustrations based around the local heritage, local stories & wildlife of the area. The story & illustrations were incorporated into four sequential interpretation panels by a local interpretation company.

Story Trail Guide Leaflet
Nature House was commissioned to create a bespoke story trail for Cliffe Castle Park & Museum to encourage families to visit.
A bespoke story & illustrations were created linking the cultural diversity and history of Keighley including its Mill industry with wildlife within the Park itself. Small story linked activities were included along the way. The Leaflet was made available in the Park & Museum.

The Waterbabies Story Trail

The National Trust Malham Tarn was the setting for the book the Waterbabies, Nature House was commissioned to develop an interactive story trail around the tarn based on the story of the Waterbabies.

Targeting schools, the Trail leaflet was to include an interactive story related activity sheet suitable for KS1/2.

Meet Tom the Chimney Sweep who journeys to Shiny Wall & meets water boatmen and waterbabies on his telling adventure.
